The Highgrove is available with two roof pitch options, the lower being 27 degrees is, like the Kenchester, designed to be under 4m to the ridge and as such can often be built without planning permission (subject to a number location, we are happy to advise further). The roof at this pitch can accommodate slates or cedar shingles.
The second option is a 35 degree pitch which allows any roof material to be used and ensures the building blends in to its environment. Both buildings are the same footprint as the Kenchester garage but without the cat slide roof, provide a more useable building, especially for larger vehicles or when using the building as a workshop, home office or gym.
All our oak frames are fully planed and traditionally jointed and all softwood components are fully pressure treated. Where required doors and windows are all handmade and choices of materials are available to complement the building.
As with all our buildings there are many options and the building can be extended to have multiple bays, garage doors, windows, personnel doors and log stores. A choice of roof styles is also available.
